    How large is the 60cm collimator at 100cm? is this right? it is in treatment machine( CK).

    SSD is 80cm for CK. It also is calibrated at SAD tech, during commissioning it collects the data of TPRs only(not PDDs) . TG-51 has kq value with respect to PPD%@100 SSD(10×10) setup. Many uncertainties during transferring factors may arise.

      Hi Kadhikary,

      kQ values can only be determined in the TG-51 formalism using PDD at 100cm SSD. You are correct that TPRs go into the planning system to create a beam model, but PDD must still be collected to determine kQ for machine calibration.
