    “The efficiency of Bremsstrahlung production for an MV photon beam is only about 1%.” …The efficiency of bremstrahlung for electrons in MV range is closer to 10-20%. 1% efficiency is more accurate for kV tubes.

      Thank you for the correction. Kahn’s Physics of Radiation Therapy (4th edition) has 30-95% listed [chapter 3, pg. 31] which is what we have in our section on Bremsstrahlung. I will be updating the solution shortly.

    Would you please explain MU chamber in detail? An answer given here is very informative however it would not enough to cover 5 minute questions.

      Hi Kadhikary,

      The 5 minute time refers to prompt plus follow-up. It’s possible that you would be asked details beyond this but generally questioning doesn’t go too in depth.
