Does Bonner sphere measure photon? I read somewhere it removes(discriminates) photon and measure alpha particle.
Please let me know.

Yes, I believe gamma energy photon signal would be small and approximately constant with size allowing for photon discrimination. Bonner spheres do not measure alpha particles.
If the detector at the center is a proportional counter, it discriminates against photons by energy discrimination. The detector only counts the signals corresponding to the Q values of neutron capture products. See Turner text: “Atoms, Radiation, and Protection”
