Mayo Clinic is seeking a full-time Clinical Diagnostic Medical Physicist in Rochester, Minnesota, within the Department of Radiology. Responsibilities
- Support CT quality assurance, acceptance testing, protocol development and optimization, radiation-dose management, and image-quality assessment.

- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, information technology teams, engineers, and equipment vendors on technical and clinical improvements.
- Assist with clinical deployment and evaluation of emerging CT technologies, including photon-counting CT, advanced reconstruction, quantitative imaging, and AI-enabled applications.
- Contribute to research, innovation, education, and development of new CT methods for clinical use.
Qualifications
- A doctoral degree in medical physics, physics, biomedical engineering, or a closely related discipline is required, together with training or demonstrated expertise in diagnostic imaging physics.
- Board certification or board eligibility in diagnostic medical physics is required.
- Candidates should have a strong interest in CT imaging, clinical translation, technology development, and collaborative practice.
